September 2010
|
|
Dear PCOS Challenge Subscribers, September is PCOS Awareness Month and we need to get the word out. In fact, every month should be PCOS Awareness month.
PCOS is a complex endocrine and metabolic disorder that is estimated to
affect one-in-ten women of childbearing age. It also affects menopausal and post-menopausal women. It can lead to other serious
conditions including endometrial cancer, obesity, diabetes and infertility.
Despite affecting 1-in-10 women and the serious health consequences, PCOS
gets almost NO ATTENTION in the media. However with your help, we can make a
huge difference.
Read through this newsletter to see how you can help to spread PCOS Awareness!

How to Never, Ever, Ever Miss Another Workout?
|
| By The PCOS Challenge Television Show Fitness Coach
Josef Brandenburg
Skipping workouts is second only to poor eating on the list of things
that will bring your progress to a screeching halt or worse yet,
make you regress. Good health, flexibility, the wonderful feeling of
self-confidence that you get from sticking to a regular exercise
program, and the body you want ALL require CONSISTENT regular exercise.
There is no way around this, and despite what the makers of "Exercise In
a Bottle" (a real product) say, you can't actually buy it in a bottle or
any other way. It's just something that you have to do.
